ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Stephanie, a film writer-director among the many people trying to do the same thing. I’m not exactly sure what to put on this page that you haven’t seen yet.
But, I do have a few things in mind…
I am an avid amateur chef and patisserie. My love for food is immense, and I hope to one day make a film that features a LOT of food.
I’m from Puerto Rico and grew up in a multicultural household. So, YES, I speak Spanish, English, and Cantonese. I'm also currently learning Korean!
I’m the eldest daughter of four, with a brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder. And, I actually made what I consider to be my first film, A Voice of Autism, about my brother in order to spread awareness and combat misconceptions.
With what I would like to consider, a unique background and perspective, I recently shot my latest film Ai (Love), which can be read about more here.
I went to NYU Tisch School of the Arts a few years back, which I am grateful for the opportunity to have made some short films. My films are mostly centered on the intimate relationship between two characters and can be seen here.
I am currently developing my first feature film about a Chinese family that wants to make it to America but ends up in Venezuela that I am excited to eventually get out into the world. So, contact me here to pick my brain or email me at stephaniecenfung@gmail.com.
